A Curated Weekend: February 6, 2015

The weekend is here and the weather looks great (for February). Whether you’re planning to continue on in hibernation mode or itching to get outside for something active, we’ve got three fun options for a memorable weekend.

Free: Beggin’ Pet Parade. Parade starts 1:00 p.m. at 12th and Allen, registration opens at 10:00 am. Sunday, February 8. Free to watch, $10 donation for entry. Mardi Gras pet parade.

Mid-range: Arch Rival Roller Girls. Midwest Sports Hockey Complex. Saturday, February 7, 6:30 pm. $12 to $15. Roller derby.

Splurge: Dark Star Orchestra. The Pageant. Sunday, February 8, 2015. Doors at 7:00 pm, show at 8:00 pm. $22 advance tickets, $25 at the door. Grateful Dead tribute band.
