A Curated Weekend: February 20, 2015

Although tomorrow’s snowy weather sounds like the perfect excuse to curl up with a hot cup of coffee and catch up on some reading, we suggest that you venture outside at least once. It’s good for you–we promise. Check out our selection of fun St. Louis events for any budget below.

Free: “Wintry Mix” Meet the Artists Evening. Atrium Gallery. Friday, February 20th, 6-8pm. Meet two artists with paintings in the gallery’s current exhibit–Jerome Hawkins and Fredrick Nelson.

Mid-range: Learn to Curl. Creve Coeur Ice Arena. Saturday, February 21st, 8:20 pm. Tickets are $25. Learn the basics of this enigmatic sport. Tired of the classic “dinner and a movie” evening? This weekend, learn an arcane skill with your sweetheart.

Splurge: TEDxGatewayArch. The Sheldon. Saturday, February 21st, 10:00am-4:30pm. Tickets start at $75. Student discount. Registration begins 9:30 am. A hand-picked selection of St. Louis’ most interesting speakers. Today is the last day to buy tickets!
