A Curated Weekend: March 6, 2015

In welcome news, the weekend weather forecast provoked a response other than a shudder of horror around the office today. Take advantage of the sunshine to get out and explore the city with our weekly event picks.

Free: Beau Willimon talk. St. Louis County Library. Saturday at 7 pm. KMOX’s Debbie Monterey interviews Beau Willimon, creator of the popular Netflix series “House of Cards”.
Mid-range: Women’s Clothing Swap. Perennial. Sunday from 2-4 pm. $10 at the door. Bring clothes and accessories that you’re ready to give away, and browse everyone else’s selection to pick up some new outfits for free. You can still participate even if you don’t bring any clothes to donate.
Splurge: Visit Cheese-ology before it closes. Cheese-ology, a restaurant in the Loop that exclusively serves variations on macaroni and cheese, announced that it is shutting down for good on Saturday. Grab a friend and dig into some toasty comfort food before the restaurant closes its doors.
